The above link should only be used to pay for physicals hosted in the band hall on 5/14/2026. 
Every student who participates in marching band is required to have a physical exam performed by a medical doctor. The following form is due before the student can complete any summer band activity. Please complete the first page requesting information regarding your student's medical history. The doctor should fill out the back of the form with the results of the exam. 

We will host a Physical Day on Thursday, May 14 from 2 to 5:30pm in the NSSH Band Hall. The cost of the physical will be $5. Your student may bring their payment in cash on the day of the exam. Students who do not complete the physical on this date will need to make arrangements with a personal physician. 

If you prefer to have your primary care physician complete the exam instead, please have them use the following form. ​

It is the philosophy of the NSSH Band that no student should be denied the privilege of band membership due to financial hardship. For options in meeting financial obligations, parents should contact the director.

Students who participate in marching band are required to pay a fee:
  • Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students pay a $350 band fee
  • Color Guard students pay a $400 color guard fee

The purpose of the assessment fee is to help with the various expenses that are necessary to run a quality band program but are not covered by the school district. These include but are not limited to:
  • Meals (20 x $7 = $160)
  • Uniform cleaning ($30)
  • Props, materials and equipment ($50)
  • Consultant/design staff ($50)
  • Travel ($55)
  • Miscellaneous expenses ($15)
  • Color guard uniform and equipment ($50)
Many bands that compete at our level charge between $1,500 to $2,500 for their fall band fee.

In addition to the yearly band/color guard fee, students with school-owned instruments must pay a $75 Instrument Maintenance Fee. This includes all oboes, bassoons, bass clarinets, tenor saxophones, bari saxophones, french horns, euphoniums, tubas, and percussionists. It is to offset the cost of cleaning, maintaining and completing minor repairs. Any extensive damage that is a result of student negligence will be paid by the student responsible. At least half the maintenance fee is due on or before Friday, May 30, 2025 for the student to have their instrument permanently checked out.  This is a district fee, not a booster fee therefore fundraising and student account cannot be used to pay the fee.  It must be paid by cash or check.

  • 3 Band T-Shirts ($12.50 each)
  • 1 Band Shorts ($15.00 each)
  • 1 Water Jug with cover/carrier ($25.95)

  • 3 Colorguard T-Shirts ($12.50 each)
  • 1 Band Shorts ($15.00 each) or Leggings ($28.00)
  • 1 Water Jug with cover/carrier ($25.95)
